The European Society of Pathology offers a 50% reduced registration fee to the next European Congress of Pathology in Lisbon. The offer is open to 20 East European and underprivileged country members who have an accepted platform or poster presentation and are in good standing with their ESP 2014 dues.

The reduction will be granted to the first 20 members who apply.

Applications must be addressed to the ESP Administrator Dr. Krasimira Serguieva (admin@esp-pathology.org), Rue Bara 6, 1070 Brussels, Belgium.

Middle East Africa Club of Oncology and Ocular Patholog (MEACOOP)

Dr Hind Alkatan, Senior Academic Consultant Ophthalmologist at King Khalid  Eye Specialist Hospital , is pleased to announce the launch of an Ocular Oncology/ Pathology Club for Middle East region which can be reached through KKESH website.

The group at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) felt that it was time that the oncologists and pathologists in the region had an informal forum to discuss and share information related to these somewhat minor subspecialties. The membership to this club would be open to physicians who practice ophthalmic oncology or ophthalmic pathology in the region. Everyone who meets these requirements is welcome to join. We are also inviting members from other global regions to join if they are interested.

The invitation open for anyone in the field, as below. In case you are interested in participating in this club, the organisers kindly request your response by March 15, 2014.

This WOC 2014 will combine the 34th International Congress of Ophthalmology and the 118th Meeting of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress. For more information, please visit the World Congress site: www.woc2014.org.

26th European Congress of Pathology
30 August- 03 September 2014

You can now register online for the 26th European Congress of Pathology in London at www.esp-congress.org. The congress will for the first time be organised as a joint venture between the European Society of Pathology and the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland.

Abstract submission is open and the ESP is very much looking forward to your contribution. 

The ESP will provide a limited number of bursaries to support the attendance of residents and trainees in pathology at the congress in London.

The Preliminary Programme will shortly be completed and the brochure can then be downloaded from the website. 

Please note that Slide Seminars are again included in the congress registration fee and no longer have to be pre-registered for. 
 
Deadlines: Abstract submission and bursary application are open until 8 April 2014.

Benefit from the early registration fees until 1 April 2014.

Last, but not least, fantastic social events have been lined up by the Local Organising Committee, be sure to secure your ticket when registering for the congress.

There will be an exclusive Congress Concert at Central Hall Westminster on Monday, 1 September 2014 and the Grand Finale of the ECP, the Congress Party, at the Museum of London Docklands on Wednesday, 3 September 2014.
